Dog Behavior Seminar:
“What is My Dog Saying?”
Do you take your dog to the park or the cabin? Do you visit homes of friends or relatives who have dogs? Do friends or relatives bring their dogs to your home? Does your dog attend Obedience, Agility or Rally class? Then this is for you!
“What is My Dog Saying?” is a seminar to help people who live and work with dogs learn to recognize and see subtle canine communication signals so they can better understand and train their dogs. To be a better advocate for your dog, it can be very useful to understand dog language; not only what our dogs are “saying”, but what those other dogs have to say! It is for any dog owner, not just those who train their dogs.
This is a new and exciting seminar presented by our own Eileen Roston, CPDT-KA. Eileen is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and a professional member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and a CGC evaluator. She has been training and showing dogs for 25 years and is currently preparing to be a Delta Dog evaluator.
This seminar will help you understand how your dog learns and how you may be unknowingly communicating improperly to your dogs. Do you know that English is a second language to dogs; they really understand our body language better. “What is My Dog Saying?” will help you and your dog have a better understanding of each other. The seminar comes complete with videos and a power point presentation authored by Carol A. Byrnes, CPDTA/KA.
