About the event

You've worked, you trained, you trialed, you showed, you cheered, you sighed, you laughed, you cried, now Let's Relax and Celebrate!  We hope you will join us for our Annual Banquet and Silent Auction on April 20th, 2024 at Joseph's Restaurant. This is a great time to reunite with club members, socialize, celebrate the successes of many, welcome new puppies and their owners, as well as pay tribute to the PWDs who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Silent Auction:

Please bring dog or people related item(s) to donate...and have your checkbook ready for action! Proceeds fund club activities and our annual donation to PWD Foundation to be used for health research. This donation is made in memory of our PWDs we have lost in the last 2023. Can't make it to the banquet? You can still donate an item by sending it with someone who is attending, or by contacting Deb S. (treasurer@pwdctc.org) to make arrangements.

New Puppy:

If you and your family welcomed a new PWD into your home in 2023, we want to formally introduce him or her to the club! Send a short narrative about your puppy and the experience you've had welcoming him or her to your family, along with a photo.

Memorials:

If you and your family lost a special PWD friend in 2023, we would like to remember him or her. Send a favorite photo to be shared in our remembrance slideshow.

New Titles/Service Awards:

If your dog earned a title or service award in 2023, please send a short narrative and share your experience, along with a photo.

New Certificates:

If your dog earned a new certificate, such as A.K.C. Star Puppy or Canine Good Citizen (CGC) in 2023, please submit a photo, along with your dogs registered and call name.

Pet Photos:

We want to see the best-est, cutest, funniest PWD photos of every dog in the club! The photos will run as a slideshow before dinner begins. Feel free to submit one photo per dog, along with their call name.

After hearing many positive comments we will be continuing with our program format of last year with shortened narratives, while continuing to celebrate successes of our PWDs.

Instructions: (The form and photos are due no later than April 10th)

  • Download and fill out the Award Ceremony Word document and email it to Stacy Runkle (secretary@pwdctc.org). This document will be used to collect information about new awards, certificates & titles, memorials and pet photos, along with narratives.
  • Email photos as a JPEG file to Stacy Runkle.   Please submit only one photo per dog in each category, and indicate dogs name.
