Canine Good Citizen and Trick Testing

CGC & Trick Testing is by Pre-Registration ONLY. To participate, please contact Linda Hunt by Wednesday November 2nd. Slots for CGC & Trick Testing will be scheduled to take place prior to the event. PRESENTATION by Lost K9  "Lost Dog!!!"

Many of you have seen or heard the story of "Foxy", a local PWD who escaped from her dog sitter last summer.  Unfortunately, Foxy has not been found. It is our hope that this presentation will help others avoid such heartbreak in the future.

The founders of Lost K9 will be joining us to share important information on the search process and what every dog owner should have on hand in case their dog is ever lost. Search protocol will be outlined and explained by Lost K9 members. They will also cover important "Do's and Don'ts" to follow when a dog is lost and a search is underway in order to help maximize the chances for a positive outcome.

Lost K9 is a 501c3, volunteer organization and is funded by donations.  While working with them on Foxy's case, it was evident how much time, emotion, and financial support is selflessly given by this group of dedicated volunteers. With this in mind, the PWDCTC invites members who wish to show their support to make a donation. We will collect donations (cash or checks) at this event. If you unable to attend and wish to donate,  please mail checks payable to Lost K9 to  Deb Scofield at the address on your renewal form.

RING TIME: FUN and GAMES

Following the presentation, there will be a ring available for those who would like to get in a little Rally or obedience practice time.

We also have a few games planned for PWDs and their people. Just for fun........and a perhaps a prize or two!!

Annual Meeting

The PWDCTC Annual Meeting will be held following the presentation and game time.

Members will have the opportunity to hear what is going on in the club and offer suggestions for future Club activities. Election of our 2023 Board will take place as well.

*We encourage PWDCTC members to join us for this event and to renew their membership for 2023. It's easy to renew; simply download the PDF of our Membership Form. Please complete and mail it or bring it to the meeting!

**Membership renewals received by November 6, 2023, will be eligible for a special prize drawing!! (Need not be present to win)

CRATE TIME!!

There will be an area set up for crating. Please bring a crate for your PWD to use during the presentation and meeting.

Cost:

Admission is $5.00 per person or $10.00 per family

CGC & Tricks: AKC processing fee only!

What to Bring:

* Your Dog(s)

* Dog Crate & a mat or rug for under your crate

* Water Dish

* Dog Treats

* A 6 ft. Leash  - NO Flexi-Leads please!
