Water Trial Practice

Our first two practices will be held at Kelley Land & Cattle Company, our third session will be held as a run through at Orchard Lake, the site of our water trial this year. Club boats will be available, along with experienced club members to provide coaching. The practice days are intended to help you and your PWD learn the skills necessary for water work, practice with the club boats and a mock judge to prepare for water trials. This is not intended to be a doggie social event.

See the schedule on the right for setup and session start times for each practice day. Practice will be scheduled into the evening to accommodate as many dogs as possible. There will be one session and, depending on your schedule, everyone who attends is expected to help setup or tear down and/or steward for the duration of the session. The July and August session will be geared towards learning and practice and the September session will be focused on water trial run-thru's. The September session is offered to all who enter our water trials. Watch for club emails two weeks prior to each session for an opportunity to sign up.
