Water Trial Practice 2 - 2026

This session will be held at Orchard Lake, the site of our 2026 water trial. Club boats will be available, along with experienced club members, to provide guidance. The practice days are intended to help you and your PWD build the skills necessary for water work, practice with the club boats and a mock judge to prepare for water trials. This is not intended to be a doggie social event.

You can find information about PWDCA Water Trials and the exercises for each level in our water work pages. To get the most out of a practice session we recommend you study the exercises and rules in advance and train the basic skills at home.

The city of Lakeville allows us to use the beach early in the morning between 6:00-9:00 AM when children and beachgoers are less likely to be present. Practice will be scheduled to accommodate as many dogs…
