About the event
The July practice will be held at Kelley Land & Cattle Company. Club boats will be available, along with experienced club members to provide coaching. The practice days are intended to help you and your PWD polish the skills necessary for water work, practice with the club boats and a mock judge to prepare for water trials. This is not intended to be a doggie social event.
You can find information about PWDCA Water Trials and the exercises for each level in water work pages. To get the most out of a practice session we recommend you study the exercises and rules in advance and train the basic skills at home.
Practice will be scheduled to accommodate as many dogs as possible. There will be one session and, depending on your schedule, everyone who attends is expected to help setup or tear down and/or steward for the duration of the session. The July session will be geared towards learning and practice.
Club members only for the July session.
Cost is $10 per dog. Please RSVP by July 19th for the July 23rd session.
