About the event
Why: Understand the exercises that comprise Junior Water Dog (JWD) and Apprentice Water Dog (AWD) and how to train the fundamental behaviors.
This workshop is geared toward dog and handler teams with interest in learning about the sport and understanding the exercises in the first two levels (JWD, AWD). And, anyone who wants to spend time with their pup (and expend their energy with mental stimulation). Whether you have trained/trialed in water work before, you have a novice dog or a seasoned dog, and you simply want to learn, or practice water skills, this workshop is for you.
In response to feedback from the 2024 workshop, each training group will be limited to FOUR dog and handler teams PER session. The second session will have the same content.
